End-User Privacy Notice

This document is intended for users ("End Users") who interact with Discord bots that use the Dicolytics analytics service. This privacy notice is for Discord users who use bots, not for bot developers.
1. What is Dicolytics
Dicolytics is an analytics service that provides bot usage statistics to Discord bot developers. When a bot developer installs the Dicolytics SDK in their bot, metadata about interactions with the bot is automatically collected.
2. Information We Collect
When you interact with a bot, the following information may be collected:

Information We Do NOT Collect
- Message content: We never collect conversation content, images, files, etc.
- Direct messages (DMs): We do not collect private messages
- Passwords: We do not collect any passwords
- Voice call content: We do not collect voice channel conversations
3. Purpose of Collection
The collected information is used solely to provide the following statistics to bot developers:
- Which commands are used most frequently
- Whether the bot's response times are adequate
- How often errors occur
- Usage statistics per server
The collected information is not used for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
4. Data Retention
Collected data is retained for a maximum of 13 months depending on the bot developer's plan. Data past the retention period is automatically deleted.
5. Opting Out
If you do not wish to have your data collected, you can opt out by logging in with your Discord account at dicolytics.com/optout.
When you opt out:
- Your interaction data with bots will no longer be collected
- You can request deletion of previously collected data
- You can reverse your opt-out at any time
Opting out applies to all bots that use Dicolytics.
6. Data Processing Location
All data is processed and stored on servers located in the United States (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Chicago region).

Bot developers who use Dicolytics are obligated to disclose or link to this document in their own bot or service's privacy policy. The following text may be used as a reference:
This bot uses the Dicolytics analytics service for usage statistics. Dicolytics collects command usage metadata (command name, response time, user ID, etc.) and does not collect message content.
